What is Psych about?
Psych is a hilarious detective show about Shawn Spencer. Shawn is incredibly good at noticing small details—a skill his father, a police officer, taught him since he was a kid. To stay out of trouble with the police, Shawn pretends he is a “psychic” and uses his observations to solve crimes as a private consultant.
Alongside his best friend, Burton “Gus” Guster, they open a psychic detective agency called Psych. The theme song, “I Know You Know,” is performed by the band The Friendly Indians (which was actually started by the show’s creator, Steve Franks!).
