Iām the Baby, Gotta Love Me!
Dinosaurs was a groundbreaking live-action sitcom that used high-tech Jim Henson puppets to tell the story of the Sinclairs. Earl Sinclair is a tree-pusher who lives with his wife Fran, three children (Robbie, Charlene, and the famous Baby), and his mother-in-law Ethyl. Even though they are dinosaurs, they deal with modern human problems like jobs, school, and family arguments.
The show’s theme, composed by Bruce Broughton, perfectly captures the energy of the early 90s television era. It sounds cheerful and inviting, introducing viewers to a world that looks ancient but feels very familiar. The series ran for four seasons on ABC and is still remembered today for its sharp social commentary and its emotional final episode.
