The Story Behind the Show
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show is one of the most famous cartoons in history. It stars a brave flying squirrel named Rocky and his best friend, a goofy but lovable moose named Bullwinkle. The show was known for its “punny” humor and silly adventures that both kids and adults loved.
The theme song is like a musical invitation to a circus. In the first two seasons, the music was written by Frank Comstock. Later on, Fred Steiner took over to give the show a fresh, lively sound. The music was always paired with a narrator’s voice, which made the show feel like an old-fashioned radio drama, but with funny drawings.
